Eglise Sainte-Croix
This parish church built between the 14th and the 15th century is located in the centre in the pretty Norman city of Bernay. It is a Gothic church despite the Classical additions of the 18th century and the Gothic Revival ones of the 19th century. It houses remarkable furniture including many pieces coming from the Bec-Hellouin Abbey. Among these pieces, the tombstones, the altar's baldachin, the life-size statues of apostles will catch your attention. The building is lighted by Duhamel-Marette's stained-glass windows.
