La ferme pédagogique et poney club de STAN
This is an educational, ecological farm that promotes know-how and knowledge in terms of animal causes and needs.
Only farm animals are shown here, no exotic animals, out of a desire to raise awareness (among parents and children alike) of respect for animals and their relationship to the place in which they were made to live.
The farm offers two main services:
- The pony club: open all year round, except when the educational farm is open and on Sundays.
- The educational farm: during the school year on Saturdays and Wednesdays from 1:30pm to 5pm, and during school vacations from Monday to Friday from 1:30pm to 5pm.
1) Pony club :
30-minute individual lessons by appointment
20? per session, 150? per card of 10
Horse or pony ride, 20? (30 min.)
2) Educational farm: Accompanied, educational and private farm visit
Duration: 2 hours
By reservation only, from 40? (over 40?: 5? per child -10? per adult).
For school groups or day-care/hospital/leisure centers, a specialized children's program is available for 6/12 year-olds from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
6 children max/afternoon, supervised by qualified staff.
Program :
- Farm activities
- Snail & frog discovery activities (not least because they realized that many children in town had never seen these animals in real life)
- Cuddle time with rabbits and guinea pigs (raising awareness of the responsibility of having a pet)
- Meeting with horses, ponies and donkeys + riding one of them
- Educational and manual activity around an animal (form to fill in + use of farm materials: sheep?s wool, wood, feathers, etc. to make a miniature animal)
- A final cuddle with the animals
Childcare available! The farm offers to look after children during the afternoon to carry out the above program.
Birthday parties can be held on site.
