WHAT IF, FOR A FEW DAYS, THE MAGIC BECAME REAL?
The Samhain Festival is an event dedicated to fantastic cultures, ancient mythologies and contemporary imaginations.
Every autumn, it brings together artists, musicians, craftspeople and enthusiasts in a festival combining concerts, performances, crafts, rituals and immersive experiences.
After a 2025 edition that drew almost 27,000 visitors and set the town of Bernay ablaze with fantastic energy, the Festival de Samhain is already preparing its next chapter.
The event, which in just a few years has become a not-to-be-missed autumn rendezvous in Normandy, today unveils the theme for its 2026 edition:? Fairies & Völväs
An invitation to explore the female figures of European magic and mythology. A world of enchanted forests and Nordic prophetesses.
For this new edition, the festival plunges visitors into a universe where :
? fairies, forest spirits and invisible peoples from European legends
? the völväs, prophetesses and magicians of Nordic traditions, able to read the threads of destiny.
For four days, Bernay Abbey and other sites in the town will once again be transformed into a veritable portal to fantastic worlds.
The program includes
? fantastic concerts and shows
? Samhain fire and rites inspired by ancient traditions
? the Witch's Market, featuring over 160 artisans and creators
? shows, parades and performing arts
? entertainment and magic challenges inspired by the great schools of witchcraft
? a magical world of fairies and forest creatures
? the great autumn carnival, unique in France.
? Special evening and opening concerts on October 29.
The festival team is also announcing new experiences and surprises for this 2026 edition.
