Clos du Martin Pêcheur

Located in a Natura 2000 zone in the Risle valley, the 1.5-hectare Clos du Martin Pêcheur has gradually blossomed over the years. Some parts of the garden are managed in the English style, while others are left more wild, such as the banks of the pond. The owners? Norman-style house, situated a little higher than the pond, offers a view over part of the garden.
During the guided tour, you will benefit from the knowledge of Janick, a retired teacher and engineer, in biology and the environment, and with her husband Jean Pierre, who worked in the fish farming industry, you can continue your discoveries, for example on the pond?s aquatic fauna, or admire his oil paintings and wood carvings. Jean Pierre also taught art and storytelling in schools, and with Janick and Jean-Pierre, the garden, a place of serenity, will give rise to fruitful and friendly exchanges.
Visits to the garden by appointment are free of charge, but those wishing to do so are welcome to pay a contribution by hat.
