Espace Muséal du Nouvel Hôpital de Navarre
Created in 2016, the Navarre hospital museum brings together a wide range of objects illustrating the world of the insane in the 19th century. It showcases the various trades (cobbler, farmer, quilter, cider brewer) involved in running the hospital at the time. The museum is divided into 4 rooms: one dedicated to the history of the hospital, the second to the trades, the third to cider and the last to the care provided at the asylum in the 19th century. Visits also include access to the 19th-century chapel, where magnificent stained-glass windows can be viewed.
