Le Jardin de la pluie et du beau temps

Located on the hillsides of Cormeilles, in the Eure department, the Lieuvin d’Auge community of municipalities is launching a new tourism product. The “Jardin de la pluie et du beau temps” offers a unique experience combining contemporary art, exploration of the Normandy region, and environmental awareness. Featuring works created by six internationally renowned contemporary artists, this new cultural and tourist trail invites visitors to take a fresh look at thethat have always shaped Normandy’s landscapes.

Turning Normandy’s weather into an artistic experience:
The Garden of Rain and Fine Weather was born from a simple idea: to make the Normandy climate a source of wonder, understanding, and creativity.
Through a stroll punctuated by works of art, observation stations, and educational content, visitors are invited to explore the many manifestations of the weather to understand the connections between climate, vegetation, human activities, and heritage.

A unique dialogue between contemporary art and the landscape:
The trail—at once poetic, playful, and educational—brings together the works of six internationally renowned contemporary artists: Pablo Reinoso, Jean-François Fourtou, Étienne Rey, Daniela Capaccioli, Pier Fabre, and Richard Cresswell, whose works—selected for their ability to engage with the landscape and the trail’s themes—were for the most part created specifically for this site.
By turns contemplative, playful, or immersive, these works invite visitors to experience the area in a new way and to reconnect with a sense of awareness of the living world.

A landmark project for the region:
Conceived as a new cultural and tourist attraction for the region, this art garden aims to make Cormeilles a must-visit destination for lovers of art, nature, and heritage.
