Espace Naturel Départemental : Le Sentier du Martin-Pêcheur

Come and get to know better the Norman wetlands in the Iton valley. The splendid setting of the Domaine de Chambray (a listed Historic Monument) provides a wide open space ideal for walks. A beautiful and bountiful nature has grown on the banks of the river Iton listed a Sensitive Natural Area. This walk, dotted with 15 information panels, invites you to immerse yourself in nature and learn about the fauna and flora found in wetlands. You might be lucky enough to see a common kingfisher in the flesh (and feathers!); it is the local mascot that will guide you all along the way to explore its habitat.
